VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) released the 2017 Fall Sport National All-Academic Winners on Thursday evening. The University of Dallas placed eight student-athletes from men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s cross country, and women’s cross country among these lists.
Men's Cross Country takes 7th at USCAA Championship

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The University of Dallas men’s cross country team wrapped up the 2017 season with the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Championships on Friday. The Crusaders scored 247 points and finished seventh place out of 22 participating teams. This improved UD’s spot in the team standings from 2016’s 11th place result. There were 166 total runners on the 8k course that was described as “super windy and muddy” by Dallas Head Coach Matthew Barber.
8 Personal Records Highlight Men's Cross Country SCAC Championships

SEGUIN, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s cross country team competed in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships on Saturday. As a team, the Crusaders scored 137 points and finished fifth place overall. Trinity University won with a 24, as seven runners slotted within the top 10 individuals. Colorado College followed with 45 points, and had two runners earn first and third in the standings. This included Max Blackburn headlining the championship with a 25:18 score.

Crusaders get 3rd at Home Invitational; Kilmer takes 6th with Best UD Time

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s cross country team finished third in the University of Dallas Invitational on a hot Saturday morning. As a team, the Crusaders tallied 87 points and finished in the top half out of seven schools. Only McMurry University (41) and Hardin-Simmons University (58) had more points than the host team.

Kilmer takes 7th at Ozarks; 7 Crusaders PR for Men's Cross Country

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – After getting a break last weekend, the University of Dallas men’s cross country team returned to the trails and ran its second consecutive 8k of the season at University of the Ozarks Invitational. Joseph Kilmer (Rockville, Md.) ran the best time for the Crusaders and earned seventh place with a time of 28:03. His time counted six points towards the team due to one of the unattached runners. Dallas finished fourth place out of six schools with 78 points.
