Men's Cross Country Results at University of Ozarks Invitational

 CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – The University of Dallas men's cross country team finished 5th place out of 10 teams on Saturday in the University of Ozarks Invitational. Dallas witnessed 6 personal records (PR) for 150 points and averaged a time of 29:58.2 minutes. It was the Crusaders second consecutive 8K race in just as many weekends.

Harding University claimed first place overall with 19 points and an average time of 25:44.8 minutes. John Brown University (64 points) finished second and University of Arkansas-Fort Smith (80 points) rounded out the top trio of team spots.

Harding had four of the top five individual places with Camden Barrett winning overall with a 25:23.7 time. His teammate Lawson Belcher ran a 25:32.4 for second. John Brown's Josh Uzelac was third with a 25:33.2 time clocked.

NOTABLE RESULTS

-Thomas Hogan (St. Louis, Mo.) bested last week's 8K time (27:18) in the ETBU Invitational by running a personal record in this distance with a 26:55.4 result. Hogan led the Crusaders for the third consecutive competition and ranked 12th.

- John James (Metairie, La.) improved on his previous 8K's debut score by about six seconds with a time of 27:37.2 minutes. He also cracked the top 20 with a ranking in 18th overall.

- Peter deTar (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) just broke his 51-second personal record (30:44) last weekend with a time stopped at 30:41.7 minutes.

- In addition to Thomas, John, and Peter's PR's were Andrew Maal (Pueblo, Colo.), Maximilian Wilson (Houston, Texas), and John Patrick McHugh (San Antonio, Texas). The latter trio punched respective times of 32:17.8, 32:18.8 and 32:55.8.
