@UofDallas Men's Cross Country takes Ninth Place at Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas Men's cross country team placed ninth out of 16 squads this weekend at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Cross Country Invitational.

Dallas averaged 30:01.8 minutes in the tournament, while the University of Dubuque won the contest with 101 points. Rounding out the top spots were Wisconsin Lutheran in second and Trinity Christian University in third.

136 competitors participated in the meet, and junior Ryan McAnany (Kanas City, Kan.) notched a top 10 finish for the Crusaders. He took 10th in the rankings, posting a time of 27:56.9.

Also collecting a solid time was fellow classmate Javier Secaira (Tacoma, Wash.) with a 29:02.1 result.

Junior Jack Grubner (Needham, Mass.) and sophomore Gabriel Marasigan (Orange County, Calif.) added scores of 30:25.5 and 31:11.8, respectively.

Wisconsin Lutheran's Chase Robles won the individual standings, crossing the finish line at 26:30.5 minutes.

Dallas travels next Saturday, Oct. 11 for a competition at Marshall, Texas known as The East Texas Baptist University Invite.
