@UofDallas Men's Cross Country takes Sixth Place in East Texas Invite

NEW SUMMERFIELD, Texas – The University of Dallas Men's cross country team placed sixth in the East Texas Invite last weekend.

Pacing the Crusader's with a time of 28:20.1 was junior Ryan McAnany (Kansas City, Kan.). His total ranked him 10th, the second time this campaign the runner cracked top ten in a competition.

Fellow classmate Javier Secaira (Tacoma, Wash.) placed not far behind in 12th with a score of 28:33.8 minutes.

Also garnering decent finishes included: junior Jack Grubner (Needham, Mass.), senior Aaron Fench (Siren, Wis.), and junior Zach Zendt (Belton, Texas) with 29:51.9, 32:08.1, and 32:21.7 times, respectively.

Winning first place overall was the University of Texas at Brownsville, while Our Lady of the Lake University, and University of Texas-Tyler rounded out the top three finishes. 

Next Opponent:

Dallas competes in the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invite on Oct. 4. Location is set to be in West Allis, Wisconsin.
