Kevin Doherty named SCAC Men's 'Runner of the Week'
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - KEVIN DOHERTY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman from Lenexa, Kan., has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, Sept. 14.
Doherty guided the Dallas men's team to a first-place finish -- for the second straight meet -- at the Gerald Ritchey Invitational hosted by the University of Texas at Arlington.
Doherty finished second overall in the college division with a time of 22:15 over the four-mile course. The meet was comprised of teams from Division I, II, III as well as National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics institutions.
