Men’s Cross Country runs to Fourth; Secaira finishes 15th to lead Crusaders

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's cross country team competed Saturday morning in their first race of the 2012 season, the University of Dallas Invitational. 

Dallas finished fourth as a team in the men's 8K race. Crusader freshman Javier Secaira (University Place, Wash./Bellarmine Prep.) paced to 15th place and was the only runner for the Crusaders to finish in the top-20. 

Also represented in the field were Arlington Baptist College, East Texas Baptist University, Southwestern University, Texas Wesleyan University, University of the Ozarks, and the University of Texas-Tyler.

Men's Cross Country will head to Tyler, Texas, to compete in the University of Texas-Tyler Invitational held on Friday, Sept. 7.
