McGuirk Set to Compete at NCC Gregory Final Qualifier in Last Chance Meet
NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) from the University of Dallas men's track and field team is set to compete at the NCC Gregory Final Qualifier on Thursday in a Last Chance Meet. McGuirk will compete in the 400 Meters Hurdles race, where he currently is ranked seventh in the Division III South/SE Region. He is also ranked 53rd nationally where the top 20 times in an event qualify for Nationals, which will be held at Geneva, Ohio, on May 23-25.
McGuirk captured gold in the 400 Meters Hurdles at the 2019 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship in San Antonio on April 28th with a 54.84 time. That mark broke the school record in the event for the fifth straight time this spring the UD senior had competed in the event.
