Giadolor's 100 Meter Dash Performance lands him on USTFCCCA All-Region Team

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Rising sophomore Prince Giadolor (Rockwall, Texas) etched his name among 12 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) members that were placed on the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region Team Monday. Giadolor represents the University of Dallas men's track and field team in the South/Southeast Region.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to the final Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS). Giadolor is the first member of the Dallas men's track and field program to claim this honor.

Giadolor broke onto TFRRS when he made his collegiate debut in the McMurry War Hawk Classic and posted a top time in the SCAC Performance List with a 10.84 second mark. Giadolor bested that time with a personal record (PR) in the SCAC Championship preliminaries by 0.01 (10.83). That mark remained the top time on TFRRS and helped Giadolor capture his first All-Region Honor.

Giadolor also won the 100m in the SCAC Championship finals for the Crusaders' first gold medal podium in the conference. It was the program's first championship in an event since the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) in 2004.

Giadolor performed well in other events for the Crusaders. He broke and reset his own school record in the 200m with a time of 21.87 seconds. Giadolor notched his third All-SCAC Team accolade by being a member of the 4x100m relay, as that unit broke a school record four straight meets. The most recent record-breaking feat was a 44.05 at the USCAA Championships.
