Senior student-athlete Matt Barber named SCAC Men's Track 'Co-Athlete of the Week'

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - MATT BARBER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior from Fort Worth, Texas, has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Track Co-Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted through from Monday, March 18 through Sunday, March 24.

This past weekend, Barber ran in the University of Texas-Arlington Relays where he competed in the 100 and 400 open events, running season-best times of 11.59 in the 100m (currently ranking him third in SCAC) and 51.17 in the 400m (currently ranking him first in SCAC).

Barber was also part of the 4X100 relay where he split 11.12 and finished off the day running the anchor leg of the 4X400 with a time of 49.98, which led the team to a season-best time.
