Mayor Breaks Long Jump Record, Pivarunas Sets 800 Meter Mark

The original record was set at 20'3" by Adam Todd on March 22, 2003. Mayor surpassed the record by 6 inches in establishing the new standard.  Senior Greg Pivarunas also had a record setting day in Arkansas with a second place finish in the 800 meter race.  The time of 1:56.87 eclipsed the old record of 1:58.61 he set at the Dr. Pepper Invitational in Waco, TX during the 2009 season.
