Men's Tennis Drops Conference Match to Austin

SHERMAN, Texas - The University of Dallas men's tennis team lost their conference match against Austin College 6-3 on Sunday, falling to 0-8 on the season.

JP Ellwanger and Cayven Yi put up a tough fight in their line one doubles match, but were defeated 8-6.  Benjamin Paul and Paul Wolfe Jr. were defeated 8-1 on line 2, and Noah Dresibach and Jude Lagarde took the line three doubles match by default.

Ellwanger notched his first singles win of the season, defeating Trey Salyer 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 on line one.  Yi's singles match also went to three sets, but he lost his battle 6-4, 1-6, 2-6.  

Benjamin Paul was defeated 6-4, 6-1, Wolfe Jr. went down 6-2, 6-1, and Lagarde lost 6-3, 6-2 on lines three, four, and five, respectively.  Dreisbach won his line six singles match by default.
