Men's Tennis Drops Tough Battle with Hendrix

CONWAY, Ark. - The University of Dallas men's tennis team lost their non-conference match against Hendrix College 9-0 on Saturday.  They fall to 0-5 on the year.

In doubles play, Shu-Lun Chang and JP Collins were defeated 8-3 at number one.  Thomas O'Donnell and Andrew Le put up a fight at line two, but lost 8-5.  Joey Nelson and Victor Salvo were defeated 8-0 at number three.

In singles play, Chang suffered his first defeat of the year at line one.  He nearly battled back to take set two, but was defeated 6-2, 6-4.  Collins was beaten 6-0, 6-1 at number two, O'Donnell lost 6-0, 6-2 at line three, and Andrew Le was defeated 6-0, 6-1 at line four.  Nelson was defeated 6-0, 6-0 at five, and Salvo was defeated 8-3 at six.

The Crusaders have a busy week ahead of them; this was their first of four matches over the next three days.  They will face University of the Ozarks tomorrow in Clarksville, Ark. at 2:00 p.m.
