Haugland, Reynolds, McNamara, and Buete Tabbed USCAA Men's Soccer All-American Honors

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. The University of Dallas men's soccer team had four athletes named to the 2019 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Men's Division 1 Soccer All-American list. Hunter Haugland (Bixby, Okla.), Chase Reynolds (Southlake, Texas), and Brady McNamara (San Antonio, Texas) were each named to the Second Team. Jake Buete (Southlake, Texas) was selected on the Honorable Mention list.

Haugland received his first USCAA award of his career. The senior forward led the Crusaders with eight goals and 19 points, adding three assists on the season. Haughland played in all 17 matches (16 starts). Reynolds notched his second USCAA award of his collegiate career. He was named to the first team ballot a year ago. The junior midfielder leads Dallas with four assists starting in all 17 games. Reynolds has notched four goals (one game-winning goal) for 12 total points. Reynolds took 38 shots on the year, which ranks fifth among all USCAA D1 particpiants.

McNamara received his first USCAA award after starting all 17 matches for the Crusaders scoring one goal and has taken eight shots in 2019. McNamara has also helped the back-line secure one shutout.

Buete was named to the USCAA All-American list in his freshman campaign. Buete took six shots as a defender playing in all 17 contests. He also added an assist on the year in the home win over Schreiner University. Buete helped the defensive line collect one shutout as well.
