Haugland, Reynolds, and McNamara Tabbed All-Conference Award Winners

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. On Thursday November 7th the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) released the 2019 All-Conference Men's Soccer award winners. Hunter Haugland (Bixby, Okla.) and Chase Reynolds (Southlake, Texas) were selected as Second Team All-Conference winners, while Brady McNamara (San Antonio, Texas) was tabbed as apart of the Honorable Mention list representing the University of Dallas.

This marks the second All-Conference award for Haugland after he received All-SCAC First Team in 2017. The senior forward leads the team with eight goals (T-5th SCAC) including three game-winning goals on the season. Haugland has played in all 16 games (15 starts) for Dallas adding three assists for a team-leading 19 points.

Reynolds grabbed his second conference award of his career after receiving All-SCAC Second Team a year ago. The junior midfielder leads Dallas with four assists starting in all 16 games. Reynolds has notched four goals (one game-winning goal) for 12 total points. Reynolds also has converted one penalty kick on the campaign.

McNamara received an honorable mention award for the second time in his career (also received it in 2017). The junior midfielder has started all 16 matches for the Crusaders scoring one goal and has taken eight shots in 2019. McNamara has also helped the back-line secure one shutout.

Coaches voted for first team and second team – with each voted team consisting of three defenders, three midfielders, three forwards, one goalkeeper and one at-large selection. A first-team vote was worth two points and a second-team vote was worth one point. Any player who received at least two different votes from the coaches but did not receive enough votes to earn either first or second team honors, was named Honorable Mention. Coaches could not vote for their own players.
