Crusaders and Dallas Baptist Tie in Saturday's Scrimmage

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's soccer team and Dallas Baptist University finished Saturday night's scrimmage in a 1-1 draw. Chase Reynolds (Southlake, Texas) put the Crusaders in front 1-0 in the first half. After several strong defensive stops by the UD defense anchored by goalkeeper Craig Drozdowski (Cypress, Texas), the Patriots finally broke through with an equalizer with 26 minutes to go in regulation. After one defensive save by Drozdowski, the visitors in red got the tying goal on the rebound. 

Dallas opens the 2019 season on Friday, August 30 versus Howard Payne University. Kickoff is slated for around 7 p.m. following the UD women's soccer match with North Lake College.
