IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's soccer team scored a season-high five goals in a dominant 5-0 win over Schreiner University on Friday. Five different players found the back of the net for the Crusaders. Dallas (3-2, 2-1 SCAC) have won back-to-back conference games on the year.

Nat Kajiwara (Southlake, Texas) started the scoring spree in the 13th minute by finding the back of the net off an assist by Cody Briggs (Houston, Texas) and Chase Reynolds (Southlake, Texas) Reynolds leads the Crusaders with three assists on the year. In the 30th minute, Andrew Ciancone (Houston, Texas) scored his second goal on the season after a quick shot that beat the keeper right.

Six minutes later, Sean Taylor (Austin, Texas) joined the scoring party to lead Dallas to a 3-0 lead midway through the first half. Jose Martinez (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) led the team with four total points, having two assists and a goal of his own, as he contributed on the last three scoring plays for UD. Reynolds scored his first goal on the year late in the first half to create a considerable lead for the Crusaders. Martinez put the final dagger on the game with his second goal on the season after a quick pass from Taylor, which led to a goal as he beat the goalie left. UD outshot Schreiner 25-7 in the conference win.

26 different Dallas soccer players made an appearance in tonight's game. UD managed eight corner kicks to Schreiner's one. Sean Carlin (Puyallup, Wash.) had four saves in goal playing one half. Jacob Chimento (St. Louis, Mo.) saw action tonight in goal. He made one save as he played the entire second half.

The Mountaineers (2-7-2, (1-5-2 SCAC) had five different players get shots on goal, but were unable to get pass the stellar UD goalkeeper play. Brandon Anselmi played 61 minutes in goal for SU saving 12 shots, but allowed all five Dallas goals. Juan Lucero played the other minutes for Mountaineers in goal.
