KICKOFF

The University of Dallas men's soccer team will finally be back in action on Friday. The Crusaders (2-2, 1-1 SCAC) last played on September 11th when they beat Centenary College 1-0 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dallas will play two games in three days as they play host to Schreiner University on Friday at 5 p.m. The team will also host Trinity University on Sunday, who is ranked No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. That game will be a rematch of last season's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship that was also in Irving.

Dallas was last scheduled to play at Austin College, but had the match postponed due to weather. It is the second league game this season to need rescheduling. Unlike the Johnson & Wales game, this match with Austin College has not been cancelled and will be made up on October 10.

UD NOTES

- The Crusaders have had tough luck with lightning and rain this season. One conference game has been canceled, while another has been postponed.

- UD hopes to add to its 1-1 record at home with a three-game home stretch coming up.

- Sean Carlin (Puyallup, Wash.) ranks second in the SCAC in goals-against only allowing two all year. He also is third in goals-against average with a 0.50 in the SCAC.

- Dallas has outshot its opponents 71-35 on the season.
