KICKOFF
The University of Dallas men's soccer team (2-2, 1-1 SCAC) is back on the road to face Austin College (2-2-2, 1-2-2 SCAC) on Friday. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
The Crusaders are coming off a 1-0 win at Centenary College of Louisiana on September 11th to grab their first conference win on the season.
UD NOTES
-Sean Carlin (Puyallup, Wash.) was named United States Collegiate Athletic Association Goalkeeper of the Week after he logged his second shutout of the year in the 1-0 win over Centenary.
- Jose Martinez (Tegucigalpa, Honduras) won USCAA Player of the Week after he provided the game-winning goal in the win over the Gents.
- Carlin ranks second in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in goals-against only allowing two all year. He also is third in goals-against average with a 0.50 in the SCAC.
- Dallas has outshot its opponents 71-35 on the season.
ABOUT THE 'ROOS
- Austin College finished their last game in a 1-1 tie against Schreiner University.
- Juan Ramirez leads the team with three goals on the season.
- Joseph Khalaf had played 535:00 minutes in goal producing 20 saves. He has a 1.01 goals- against average.
HISTORY
