Reynolds Signed with Denton Diablos for Summer Soccer

DENTON, Texas – University of Dallas men's soccer midfielder Chase Reynolds (Southlake, Texas) signed with Denton Diablos this summer. The Diablos are a Semi-Professional Soccer Team that was founded in 2018. They compete in the National Premier Soccer League's Lone Star Conference. Reynolds performed in a tryout last February and was signed to the team, which began the season in May.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas athletics department celebrated its sixth annual end of the year banquet on Sunday, May 5, at the Hagger University Center. Each coach from the 15 NCAA affiliated programs took a moment to speak on behalf of their program, as well as recognize those that received postseason achievements highlighted by each team’s Most Valuable Player (Listed at bottom).

DAYTONA, Fla. – University of Dallas men’s soccer alumni Luke Schwarz was signed by USL team Daytona Soccer Club (Daytona SC), the newest member of USL League Two.
Men's Alumni Soccer Game Reception Slated for February 2 at 6 PM

IRVING, Texas - The annual University of Dallas Men's Alumni Soccer Game Reception will be held on February 2 at the new soccer facility. This event will kick off at 6 p.m. before the Groundhog Party in the Park later that night.
Men's Soccer Wubshit Interned at Google in Summer of 2018

IRVING, Texas – Yeabkal Wubshit (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) committed this past summer to an internship at Google. A junior computer science major with a concentration in applied mathematics, Wubshit applied online for the position through the company’s careers site. After being contacted by a recruiter and earning the position after completing the interview process, Wubshit spent the summer of 2018 working on infrastructures for Google Service Accounts at Google’s office in Sunnyvale, California.

Four Added to UD Athletics Hall of Fame on Sunday

IRVING, Texas – On Sunday, November 11, the University of Dallas honored four former student-athletes by inducting them into the Hall of Fame. This quartet increases the total number of inductees to 74, and also marked 20 years since the inaugural class of 1998. This is the 22nd ceremony that has been held, with Sunday’s event happening at the Rathskeller on the Dallas campus.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced its All-American award winners for men’s soccer division 1 and 2. The University of Dallas, who is among the division 1 program, placed four players with honors. Chase Reynolds (Southlake, Texas) and Sean Taylor (Austin, Texas) highlighted the First Team All-American group for UD, while Sean Carlin (Puyallup, Wash.) and Andrew Ciancone (Houston, Texas) were tabbed Second Team All-American.
Crusaders Fall 5-1 to Texas Lutheran in Quarterfinal Round of SCAC Tournament

GEORGETOWN, Texas - The No. 5 seed University of Dallas men’s soccer team fell in the quarterfinals of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) tournament 5-1 to the No. 4 seed Texas Lutheran University. The Crusaders (8-8, 7-6 SCAC) took an early 1-0 lead in the 3rd minute as Eric Haigh (Frisco, Texas) crossed a nice ball and found Tomas DePetris (Houston, Texas) who beat the keeper right. TLU then (10-7, 9-6 SCAC) scored five unanswered points, as UD gave up its most goals on the season.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced the 2018 All-SCAC Men?s Soccer Team on Thursday. The University of Dallas had three players receive honors, with Sean Taylor (Austin, Texas) being named to the All-SCAC First Team. Chase Reynolds (Southlake,Texas) and Andrew Ciancone (Houston, Texas) were selected to All-SCAC Second Team.
