NORFOLK, Va.Sean Carlin (Puyallup, Wash.) of the University of Dallas has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week. Carlin did not surrender a goal for the Crusaders during their latest road trip that featured shutouts at Centenary College (1-0) and Austin College (4-0). The freshman was called upon to make all five saves for his team as they secured their eighth win in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) this season, a new program best.

Carlin earned his second USCAA Goalkeeper of the Week Honor this fall. The freshman now has five shutouts this season and has been part of all six the Crusaders have garnered. In 12 starts he has logged 1,045:27 minutes, while boasting top marks in the SCAC for save percentage (.818), goals against 8), and goals-against average (0.69).

Dallas returns to the pitch on Wednesday for a non-conference game with Southwestern Adventist University. Kickoff is slated for 4:30 p.m. and begins a four-game home stand that will wrap up the regular season for the Crusaders (9-2-2).
