2015 Season in Review for Men's Soccer

The University of Dallas men's soccer team enjoyed an 8-8-2 record on the season and posted a program best 7-4-2 mark in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). In five seasons associated with the league, Dallas set its highest finish with 23 points and a third place finish. The Crusaders dropped a 1-0 double overtime match in the SCAC Quarterfinals to Schreiner University. 


NOTABLE MOMENTS

- Dallas topped No. 1 (at the time) Trinity University in a 1-0 decision at Crusaders Field on September 18. It was the first win over the Tigers in program history.  
- Senior Colton Allen (Roanoke, Texas) produced the first UD hat trick since 2008 and on the road since 2007 with three of the team's season-high, six goal shutout over Centenary College.
- Junior Tino Gamueda (Lubbock, Texas) earned two conference players-of-the-week and pitched six of the team's shutouts, and five shutout wins. He accumulated 71 saves, averaged 1.16 goals allowed and a 77.2 save percentage.
- Leading the team in scoring was junior Barton Holdridge (Fort Worth, Texas) with career-highs in goals and points with seven and 14, respectively. He had a pair of game-winners and two multiple goal contests.
- One of Holdridge's netters tied a 1-1 draw against Colorado College with 23 seconds left in regulation. Dallas would later host the Tigers in a scoreless final at Irving, Texas. An active three-game streak of ties exists between the programs.
