Mens Soccer Struggles Against Colorado College
The University of Dallas men’s soccer team suffered a
rough loss to the Colorado College Tigers on Saturday, September
26. Junior goalkeeper, Paul Stauduhar (Longwood, FL/Lake Mary H.S.)
recorded five saves and sophomore keeper Chris Brisky (Hays,
TX/Jack C. Hays H.S.) had two in the final ten minutes of the game,
however the team was not able to hold back the Tigers who took 30
shots (11 on goal) in the game. Freshman midfielder Billy Stofer
(Albuquerque, NM/Sandia H.S.), senior midfielder and co-captain
Matt Stamper (Bentonville, AR/Bentonville H.S.), senior midfielder
and co-captain Aaron Tucker (Keller, TX/Birdville H.S.) and Mike
McIlhon (San Diego, CA/St. Augustine H.S.) all had shots on goal,
but the Tigers kept them off the scoreboard.
The 2-4-1 Crusaders play on Sunday, September 27 against Milwaukee
School of Engineering in Colorado Springs, CO.
