THE LEAD

The University of Dallas men's lacrosse team wraps up the regular season with an important road match at Johnson & Wales University (CO) on Saturday. The Wildcats are in their first year with the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), and this match's result should help determine the number three and four seeds in the tournament next week in Irving.

Dallas (3-8) is coming off a 25-6 setback at Southwestern University, another team in the SCAC.


THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR UD

- Tucker Jameson (Mechanicsville, Md.) leads the Crusaders with 32 points and 27 goals.

- Tyler Smith (Snoqualmie, Wash.) and Austin Gibbons (St. Charles, Ill.) have eclipsed 20 goals with 22 and 20, respectively. Smith increased his program career-bests to 67 and 87 in goals and points. Gibbons has a goal in all-but one contest he has played in (10 matches).

- Hector Pinell-Sanchez (Manor, Texas) has amassed 68 saves and started the last five games in goal. He has totaled 315 minutes.

- Johnson & Wales sits 1-9 overall this season and have dropped seven straight.
