Men's Lacrosse Ethan Fuller named SCAC Character & Community Athlete-of-the-Week

ETHAN FULLER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman from Keller, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Character & Community Male Student-Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending May 6th, 2015.

Fuller is a member of the University of Dallas men's lacrosse team, and majoring in business. His goal is to be an entrepreneur, and expects to gain valuable experience both inside the program at UD and out in the community.

"Ever since I was little, I have loved giving back to the communities I have been in," the attacker for Dallas reflected. "My Dad was in the military so we moved around a lot, and we were in a lot of communities. Each one had its own different flavor, and I loved being able to give back to that community and strengthen it."

Despite just being in his first year with Dallas, Fuller jumped into giving back to the community in the fall semester. He went with a group of students to Holy Family of Nazareth, a local parish, and did yard work for the organization. Some of the volunteer service involved watering plants and picking weeds to help beautify the campus.

"When I came to college I really wanted to continue giving back like I had in high school," Fuller stated. "While I am just a freshman and have yet to get involved with a lot of the projects the institution does, I look forward to continuing on at the University of Dallas with helping the community out around Irving."

Fuller decided to join the Dallas men's lacrosse program which has been rebuilding after cancelling the 2014 campaign. The native of Keller, Texas, has totaled three goals and added an assist through 13 games in his debut season. His first collegiate netter occurred in a 10-8 win versus St. Gregory's University.
