Crusaders Take Seventh at Wynlakes

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The University of Dallas men's golf team competed at the Wynlakes Intercollegiate hosted by Huntingdon College on Tuesday.  There was just a single round of play, after yesterday's round was rained out.  The Crusaders took seventh place in the field of 15 teams with a score of 294 (+6).  They were two strokes behind sixth place Whitworth and 10 strokes behind the champions, Washington & Lee, who finished -4 for the tournament.

Dallas was tied for second in Par 5 scoring at -2 on the day, and led the tournament with 65 total Pars.

Karsten Paciotti and Jackson Lehner led the pack for the Crusaders, both finishing even par in an eight-way tie for 13th. Rex Soulliere was T29 with a 74, Trey Schneider was T48 with a 76, and Mason Hitt was T72 with an 85.

Up Next

The Crusaders have their final regular season event next week.  They will compete in the West Region Invitational hosted by Southwestern University starting on Monday, April 3.
