Crusaders Take 6th at John Bohmann Invitational
BLANCO, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team wrapped up competition in the John Bohmann Invitational on Tuesday. The Crusaders placed sixth in the field of 10 teams with a two day team score of 610. They finished eight strokes ahead of seventh place Hardin-Simmons, and seven strokes behind fifth place Our Lady of the Lake. Trinity took the overall team win with a final score of 579.
After finishing day one tied for third place with an even par, Karsten Paciotti paced the Crusaders with a T6 finish. He shot a 74 on day two to finish +2 for the tournament. There was a four-way tie for second place, with four golfers finishing at even par, with Christian Rodriguez taking the individual title after shooting -4 for the tournament.
Freshman Anthony Prudence finished his first collegiate tournament tied for 30th with his teammate, Jackson Lehner, both shooting +11 for the tourney. Lehner climbed 12 spots on the leaderboard, cutting seven strokes from his day one score to do so. Trey Schneider was right behind at +12, and Rex Soulliere tied for 44th with a two-day score of 160. Mason Hitt rounded out the field for Dallas, finishing +27.
