Lehner Takes Fourth at SCAC Championship

BLANCO, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team wrapped up competition in the SCAC Conference Championship on Tuesday.  The Crusaders posted a round three score of 305 to post a two-day team score of 913 (+49), dropping two places from day one to finish in sixth place for the tournament.  St. Thomas shot 300 in round three to jump past Dallas by one stroke.  Southwestern University overcame a two-stroke deficit, shooting a 296 to pass Trinity University and claim the conference title by a single stroke.

Jackson Lehner shot the second lowest round of the season for the Crusaders one day one, ending day one in fourth place with round scores of 69 and 75.  He shot par in round three to hold his position, finishing even for the tournament and just one stroke away from a top three finish.  He earns All-SCAC First Team honors by virtue of his top five finish.  

Rex Soulliere also held his position from day one, finishing T10 with a three day total of 225 after shooting 74 on day two; he was awarded All-SCAC Second Team honors for placing in the top 10.  Karsten Paciotti dropped five places to T20 with a round three score of 81, while Trey Schneider clibed one spot to T26 with a 78 in the final round.  Mason Hitt rounded out the field with in 40th, finishing with a three-round score of 263.
