Eight Crusaders Elected to SCAC 2020 Spring All-Sportsmanship Teams

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 12th annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 72 student-athletes were selected to the 2020 squad in the sports of baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track and field.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- For the next two weeks, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) will recognize and honor all of its senior spring sport student-athletes who had their final seasons cut short by the COVID-19 outbreak. The SCAC began its spotlight on Monday with the league’s men’s golf seniors. Included in this group from the University of Dallas was two golfers in Erik Hamm (Brentwood, Tenn.) and Jacob Wade (Magnolia, Texas).
UD Men's Golf Takes 5th at Schreiner Shootout

KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s golf team put together its lowest team score in a round this spring with a 299 on Tuesday, but remained in fifth place out of 11 teams at the Schreiner Spring Shootout at Comanche Trace. Dallas scored a 608, which was a stroke off from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

KERRVILLE, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team finished its first round of the Schreiner Shootout on Monday with a 309 score for fifth out of 11 teams. Mary Hardin-Baylor and Trinity University are tied for the top spot with a 299. Concordia University (300) and Cal Lutheran (302) follow. The Crusaders are second among five fellow Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) schools.
UD Men's Golf Wrapped Up SCAC Preview

BLANCO, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s golf team concluded the SCAC Preview at Vaaler Creek Golf Club with a seventh place finish out of nine. The Crusaders shot 305 to shave two strokes off the team score from Monday and equal a 612.

BLANCO, Texas – The first ever SCAC Preview was competed on Monday at Vaaler Creek Golf Club, the site of the 2020 conference championship on April 20-21. One round was completed with a par 72 and 6864 yardage on the course that had landed the University of Dallas men’s golf team its first ever conference championship last spring.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s golf team will begin the 2020 portion of its 2019-20 season in March with sights on another strong performance at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship (SCAC). Dallas returns all five golfers that were part of the 2019 team that captured the historic championship at Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco, Texas.
