BLANCO, Texas – The 2019 All-SCAC Men's Golf Teams were announced following the conclusion of the SCAC Championship at Vaaler Creek Golf Club on Tuesday, April 23.

The University of Dallas men's golf team had three recipients honored – tying the most the program has ever had a second season in a row – with Emilio Montalvo (Mexico City, Mexico) and Erik Hamm (Brentwood, Tenn.) claiming spots on the All-SCAC First Team.

Jacob Wade (Magnolia, Texas) was named to the All-SCAC Second Team.

This trio finished in the top-10 of the individual standings and led the Crusaders to a historic 2019 Men's Golf Championship, which is the first-ever SCAC title in any sport. Hamm (75, 71, 71) and Montalvo (72, 72, 71) shot one above par (217) for their first SCAC All-Conference honors. Wade (71, 76, 76) matched a team low round score in the first 18 holes and did just enough to have the third lowest scorecard at the end, as he tied for sixth (223).

Montalvo did receive two SCAC Men's Golfer of the Week accolades in the 2018-19 campaign, including the last one a week ago. He caps a strong season for the Crusaders with a successful conference championship debut.

Wade and Hamm earned their second all-conference awards in their third seasons with UD. Wade led the Crusaders with an All-SCAC First Team, while Hamm was a 2017 All-SCAC Second Team winner.
