Crusaders Complete Round One of Schreiner Spring Shootout

KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas men's golf team competed Round One of the Schreiner Spring Shootout on Monday. Dallas currently is tied for 5th place with University of Houston-Victoria after shooting 308 as a team. Erik Hamm (Brentwood, Tenn.) leads the Crusaders after shooting a 74. That mark is good enough for T-11 overall.

Emilio Montalvo (Mexico City, Mexico) notched a 76, while Robby Evans (Flower Mound, Texas) came into the clubhouse with a 77 through 18 holes. Jacob Wade (Magnolia, Texas) finished with an 81.

Peter Thorseth of the University of St. Thomas (TX) and Louis Flynn of Our Lady of the Lake University lead the group after one round after both shooting a 69. Ryan Kyaw (California Lutheran University), Jason Lopez (Schreiner University), and Steve Landry (Our Lady of the Lake Univ.) all are tied for third after shooting a 70.
