Bross Leads Men's Golf in Saturday's Win in Hendrix Dual #1

DALLAS – The University of Dallas men's golf team won on Saturday versus Hendrix College in the first of two duals at Luna Vista Golf Course. The Crusaders had all eight guys on the roster this fall participating in this competition down the road from campus. The team was able to compile a 313 score and win the fourth straight head-to-head meeting dating back to October 2nd, 2016. Dallas won both duals in Arkansas last spring.

Robert Bross (Wentzville, Mo.) earned the individual victory with a round-low 75. He was competing as an individual for the Crusaders, and was the only player out of five registered as individuals to shoot below 80.

For the team, Robby Evans (Flower Mound, Texas) and Thomas Schuberg (Camarillo, Calif.) each tallied a 76 to tie for second. The duo tied for the most Birdies on the afternoon with four apiece.

Hendrix was led by Tucker Andrews and Ben Brezette with 77.

Individual Standings

Both teams tee off again at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. The scores will count as a separate tournament.
