Schuberg earns SCAC Men's Co-Golfer of the Week
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Thomas Schuberg (Camarillo, Calif.) from the University of Dallas men's golf team has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Golfer of the Week for competition played through Tuesday, September 26.
For the second tournament of the fall season, Schuberg tied for seventh in three rounds (54-holes) at the Al Jones Memorial Tournament hosted by University of Texas at Tyler. Schuberg matched a career-low round of 70 on the final turn through the card on Tuesday. He also posted that mark in the third round of the season opener two weeks ago.
Overall the junior etched a 227 (77, 80, 70) to lead the Crusaders to a fourth place finish. This is the fourth time Schuberg has garnered the SCAC weekly award in his career. He had a trio of winners in 2016, which included two during the fall portion of the campaign.
