FIRST TIP
The University of Dallas men's basketball team will play Hendrix College for the second time this season on Saturday. This meeting will be played in Conway, Arkansas with first tip scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Dallas (4-1) got the best of the Warriors in Irving winning 71-57 on November 16th. UD since then has gone 2-1 falling to Chapman University in its last outing at the Chapman/Whittier Classic over Thanksgiving weekend.
UD NOTES
- Dallas was tabbed 10th in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Week 2 Coaches Poll.
- Michael Wambsganss (Denver, Colo.) led all players with 23 points and 11 rebounds in the victory over Hendrix earlier this season. Wambsganss shot 4-11 from behind the arc and 7-14 from the field to help Dallas beat the Warriors.
- Jai Love (St. Louis, Mo.) dished out five assists in the previous win over HC. Love sits atop the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) averaging 6.3 assists per game.
- Wambsganns and Dustin Mathis (Fort Worth, Texas) continue to shine from three-point range shooting 39% and 46%, respectively from behind the arc.
- The Crusaders fell 81-67 in the last meeting in Conway, Arkansas. Four Warriors scored 10 or more points in that matchup.

- Hendrix College (4-4) has won its past two meetings beating Mississippi University for Women (70-66) and Louisiana College (67-66) at home.
- The Warriors played an exhibition game against NCAA Division II foe University of Arkansas Fort Smith on Thursday.
- Seth Stanley and Alex Conrad put up the two highest scoring totals for the Warriors in the loss to UD on November 16th. They each finished with 21 and 16 points, respectively.
- Not a single Warrior reached double-digits in rebounds in the loss at the Maher Center.
- Stanley continues his hot shooting for HC averaging 22.0 points-per-game on the season.

Dallas will take a week off before starting SCAC play by hosting University of St. Thomas (TX) on Friday December 20th at 5:30 p.m. The following day UD will take on the Gents from Centenary College at 2:00 p.m. in Irving. This season the men's team will take the floor first in SCAC games.
