Men's Basketball edged by East Texas Baptist

On Friday evening, the University of Dallas (UD) men's basketball team (1-1) couldn't solve East Texas Baptist University (ETBU), as the Crusaders were handed a 71-95 loss.

UD freshman guard Braeton Hightower (Sperry, Okla./Owasso H.S.) wasn't able to match Monday's 30 point performance against Southwestern University, but he was able to find double-digits once again, scoring 11 points against ETBU.

Senior guard/forward hybrid Noah Pettit (Fairfax, Calif./Sir Francis Drake) led the way for UD, with 24 points on the night, while junior guard Barrett Brown (Phoenix, Ariz./Mountain Pointe H.S.) was close second with 21 points.

To conlcude play in the Austin College Tip-Off Classic, Dallas will face LeTourneau University at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
