The Crusaders pounced on the Warhawks early to take a 4-0 lead in the first.  Simon Turner tripled home Fernanda Davila and Caleb Hohman to make it 2-0, then scored on a wild pitch to make it 3-0.  David Laranjo capped off the inning with a two-out RBI double to make it 4-0.

The Warhawks got on the board with an RBI double in the second, but Dallas pulled the run back in the fourth on an RBI single by Hohman to make it a 5-1 game.

McMurry cut into the deficit in the fifth inning without recording a hit, scoring a run on a balk and another on an error to make it 5-3.  They swung the momentum further in their favor with a four-run seventh, taking a 7-5 lead on Josh Dyer's pinch hit three-run homer.

Dallas came right back with a pair of runs in the eighth.  Paxton Huff drove in Walker Alsobrooks with a single to left, advanced to second on a sac bunt by Davila, then stole third.  Hohman drove him in with a sac fly to tie the game at 7-7.

The Crusaders had McMurry on the ropes, taking an 8-7 lead in the top of the ninth, but the Warhawks came up big with two outs again, tying the game on an infield single to send it to extras.

Dallas was set down in order in the top of the 10th, and McMurry managed to get a runner in scoring position with two outs.  Up stepped Tanner Hollis, who ended the game with a two-run homer to left, the first of his career.
