UPDATE: Series Opener with Blackburn Canceled

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas baseball team has canceled their series opener vs Blackburn College, originally scheduled for today (March 10) at 2:00 p.m.

Though Thursday night's weather was not nearly as severe as the storm that shook up last weekend's schedule, the playing surface is still recovering.  The outfield grass in particular took on a lot of wear and tear, playing just one day after the torrential downpour last week.

As such, both teams have agreed to not play today's game, with the outfield in questionable condition after last night's rain.  Tomorrow's (March 11) double-header is currently set to go on as scheduled, with game one set for an 11:00 a.m. first pitch, and game two scheduled to be seven innings.
