DOWN MEMORY LANE: Atkins 3 Bombs Down Blackburn

IRVING, Texas - On April 18, 2009 Zach Atkins hit three home runs to lead the Crusaders to a 12-5 win at Blackburn College setting a UD record for home runs in a game. The three were part of the 13 he hit that year to set a UD record for homers in season.

Earlier in the year in a home game Atkins hit a prodigious shot, in a 16-4 win over Adrian College, that landed in front of what was then the covered scorer's table on the soccer, now lacrosse, field.
