"I would like to thank Head Coach Erik Grafton, Dick Stockbrine, and the rest of the UD athletics community for their professionalism throughout the hiring process," Ramsey stated. "UD has all of the tools necessary to develop student athletes academically, athletically, and professionally. I look forward to helping Coach Grafton continue to grow the Dallas baseball program, and assisting him in the program's journey to branded, long term success."

"Coach Ramsey has an impressive background with a wide range of experiences at the college level and will be a great fit for our program. Coach Ramsey's vision for our pitching staff, our recruiting efforts, and our program as a whole, aligns perfectly with the goals we have and what we want to accomplish. I am confident his background, experiences, and coaching ability will make us a better program."
