UD Baseball Hires Nate Ramsey as Assistant Coach
IRVING, Texas – Nate Ramsey has been hired as the next University of Dallas baseball assistant coach. Ramsey's primary duties will be the pitching Coach and recruiting coordinator, but will also assist in all aspects of the program. Ramsey is set to begin his new role at Dallas on December 10.
Ramsey joins Head Coach Erik Grafton's staff, who will begin his third year with the Crusaders in 2021.
Ramsey arrives at UD after working with NCAA Division I Wofford College as the director of baseball operations. Prior to that Ramsey was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Savannah State University, which is NCAA Division II.
From August 2015 to September 2017, Ramsey was the head coach at NCAA Division III Wilkes University.
Ramsey is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, who received his bachelor's degree at Bluefield State College, and obtained his Master's Degree in Coaching Education from Ohio University in August, 2015.
Ramsey is married to Hannah Ramsey (Formerly Warren).
