Crusaders Baseball Held 2019 Fall Ball World Series Last Weekend

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas baseball team wrapped up the fall ball portion of its season with the 2019 World Series on its campus last weekend. Saturday was "Family Day" for the Crusaders program, as those available to attend gathered at the field to watch the first intersquad game of the weekend.

Prior to first pitch, each member of the 37-man roster introduced themselves and their family. After the nine-inning contest, the guests, players, and staff in attendance were treated to barbeque. Overall there were 180 people that came to the fall ball games.

The teams ended up splitting the intersquad series. Team 1 took the first game, 4-3, while Team 2 prevailed 7-5 on Sunday. The Crusaders featured their new navy and gray top jerseys they will wear in the spring season. The sides switched what color jerseys they wore each day, so the team in navy won both times.
