Wallace Picked up by Texas Express for NBC World Series; UD Baseball Summer League Wrap Up

IRVING, Texas – Summer ball is wrapping up for several members of the University of Dallas baseball team, who had 14 players involved with a summer team. While some players are finished with their seasons, others are continuing or joining another team to continue play the remaining weeks before the new 2019-20 academic year begins in about a month.

Jamie Wallace (Crockett, Texas) headlines the latter group as he was picked up by the Texas Express in the 2019 National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series. Because the Express won their championship bid, they will skip the Pool Play this week and start on August 1-10. Click here for more about the 85th NBC World Series. Wallace had spent time previously this summer with the Westchase Express out of the Houston Collegiate Summer League (HCSL).
