Abalos Named SCAC Baseball Hitter of the Week

Josh Abalos of the University of Dallas, a senior middle infielder from Lewisvilles, Texas, has been named the SCAC Baseball Hitter of the Week for games played from Monday, April 22 through Sunday, April 28. He earns the first conference hitter of the week honor for the Crusaders in 2019, and is the second time the senior has achieved the feat in the last two seasons.

Abalos concluded his career at Dallas on a high-note, leading the Crusdaers to a 2-1 series win over Schreiner while batting .500, tallying six runs, five RBI and seven stolen bases. On Sunday, Abalos was red-hot, going 3-for-4 at the plate while driving in three runs and stealing six bases.
