Baseball Summer League Final Update

IRVING, Texas – As the summer concludes, here is a final update on how the University of Dallas baseball players have been doing in their respective leagues. Conrad Voss finished atop the New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) with six wins, as the left-hander added a team-high 35 strikeouts over 50.1 innings with the Niagara Power. Player profile

Joseph Vondrachek completed his summer play earlier in July with the Cathedral City A's. He finished with 12 hits over 36 at bats (.333), while scoring 13 runs and drawing nine walks. He swiped five bases and drove in nine runs. Jordan Stickler remains active in the Western Major Baseball League with the Fort McMurray Giants. In his second summer with the squad, Stickler has logged 120 at bats over 39 games. Luke Boylson has been playing with the Xenia Scouts out of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League (GLSCL). Their season concluded on Sunday. Boylson batted .282 with 24 base knocks in 85 at bats. He doubled six times and clubbed a pair of homers to go with 12 RBI. He also worked nine walks.
