Voss tabbed to Start Monday's NYCBL All-Star Game

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The New York Collegiate Baseball League (NYCBL) released their lineup for the All-Star game last week, with Conrad Voss (Corona, Calif.) from the University of Dallas receiving a spot. The left-handed pitcher that is a rising junior was tabbed the starter for the contest that will be Monday.

The All-Star game will be in Syracuse against the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League (ACBL)

Voss emerged as the ace of the Niagara Power pitching staff that includes being tops in the league for wins (4) and strikeouts (33). Voss remains 4-1 with a 2.97 ERA over six appearances – all starts. The southpaw has not allowed a walk the previous two outings, which includes throwing a season-long eight frames on June 29 at Wellsville. He has given up three free passes overall with no more than one in an appearance.

Other Crusaders have been selected to play in their summer collegiate All-Star games. Teammates Joseph Vondrachek (North St. Paul, Minn.) and Natton Patton (McKinney, Texas) were selected respectively for Palm Springs Collegiate League and Texas Collegiate League.
