Crapps, Cronin, McRoberts named to 2013 All-SCAC Baseball 'Honorable Mention' Team

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Three from the University of Dallas baseball team -- Joshua Crapps, Martin Cronin and Tug McRoberts -- have been selected by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) to the 2013 All-SCAC Baseball Honorable Mention Team.

Crapps (Anchorage, Alaska) was one of four pitchers to comprise the honorable mention team. The 6-foot-3 freshman right-hander went 4-2 in 2013 and finished ranked as follows in the SCAC: one save (fifth), four wins (sixth) eight games started (eighth) and 51 innings pitched (11th). 

Cronin (The Woodlands, Texas) was one of four pitchers to be chosen for the honorable mention team. The 6-foot-4 sophomore right-hander went 2-4 in 2013 and finished ranked as follows in the SCAC: two saves (second), one shutout (second), one complete game (eighth) and 49.2 innings pitched (thirteenth). 

McRoberts (Beaumont, Texas) was the only designated hitter to find the honorable mention team. The 5-foot-11 freshman left-handed batter finished ranked as follows in the SCAC: a .378 batting average (fourth), 13 stolen bases (fifth), a .444 on-base percentage (sixth), four sacrifice hits (sixth), 42 hits (13th), 25 runs (14th) and a .405 slugging percentage (14th).
