Ellwanger was selected as the SCAC's Men's Singles Player of the Week for the week of April 8-April 14.  Ellwanger went 2-0 on the week in singles play and 1-1 in doubles, leading the Crusaders to their first win since the program was brought back for the 2022-23 season.  He defeated conference opponent Zhanlue Kuang of St. Thomas 6-1, 6-3 on Friday, then took the top line singles point in the Crusaders' 7-2 win over Sul Ross on Saturday.
