Dallas Places 5 on 2018 Spring All-Sportsmanship Teams

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 10th annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 51 student-athletes were selected to the 2018 squad in the sports of baseball, men's and women's golf, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track and field.

Five student-athletes from the University of Dallas that included: Mel Savala (Bryan, Texas) from softball, Mark Peterson (Cincinnati, Ohio) from baseball, Robby Evans (Flower Mound, Texas) from men’s golf, Shivam Mishra (Jamshedpur, India) from men’s track and field, and Amy Foote (Saint Paul, Minn.) from women’s track and field garnered the good sportsmanship recognition.

The SCAC places a special emphasis on sportsmanship each year and is asking all fans of the conference to exhibit good sportsmanship at all conference functions throughout the 2017-18 season. Read the SCAC Presidents’ Council statement on Fan Sportsmanship.

Each head coach was asked to elect one member from his or her team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season.
