Three UD athletes tabbed as AD3I Player of the Week

Carter earns Association of Division III Independents men’s soccer Player of the Week honors

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – University of Dallas sophomore goalkeeper Sam Carter (Chicago, Ill.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents men’s soccer Player of the Week. Carter came up with seven saves on the week and gave up just one goal in two matches, including a 3-1 victory over Dallas Christian College and a 2-0 win over Colorado College. He now has shutouts in three of his last four games.

Hasson receives Association of Division III Independents women’s soccer Player of the Week award

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – University of Dallas freshman goalkeeper Brigid Hasson (Fairfax, Va.) has been named the Association of Division III Independents women’s soccer Player of the Week. Hasson notched her fourth shutout of the season as UD defeated rival Austin College, 1-0. She endured 22 shots on the match and made seven saves.

Fuchs named Association of Division III Independents volleyball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – University of Dallas junior rightside hitter Danielle Fuchs (St. Charles, Mo.) has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents volleyball Player of the Week. Fuchs led her squad to a 2-2 record on the week and averaged 4.17 kills (50 total) and 3.33 digs (40 total) per set. Her hitting percentage was .333 and she also added five blocks.
