IRVING, Texas - Here are some significant dates for the University of Dallas athletic teams over the past decade, as we begin 2020: 

  • Dallas women’s cross country runner Anna Wilgenbusch competed in the NCAA Division III National Championships and earned a historic NCAA All-American Award (Nov. 23, 2019)
  • Dallas women’s cross country runner Anna Wilgenbusch won the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championship (Nov. 16, 2019)
  • Dallas women’s cross country runner Anna Wilgenbusch won the SCAC Championships for the program’s first individual title holder and was SCAC Runner of the Year (Nov. 2, 2019)
  • Dallas men’s golf wins SCAC Championship and first title in program history (Apr. 22-23, 2019)
  • Dallas men’s track and field runner Kevin McGuirk wins 400 Meter Hurdles at SCAC Championships and breaks school record in 5th straight meet (Apr. 27, 2019)
  • Dallas men’s basketball topples top-seeded Southwestern University 91-84 to qualify for SCAC Title Game (Feb. 23, 2019)
  • Dallas men’s lacrosse scored 27 goals vs. University of Louisiana-Lafayette (Feb. 2, 2019)
  • Dallas women’s track and field thrower Diana Hassink won the Shot Put at the SCAC Championships with a record-breaking 40’2.75” mark (Apr. 27, 2018)

  • Dallas men’s track and field runner Prince Giadolor wins 100 Meters  at SCAC Championships and broke 200 Meters Record (Apr. 23, 2016)
  • Dallas volleyball defeated Trinity University in five sets for program’s first win in the all-time series (Sept. 27, 2015)
  • Dallas men’s soccer upsets No. 1 Trinity University in Irving off Andrew Ciancone’s late goal, and marked the first victory over Trinity in program history (Sept. 18, 2015)
  • Dallas men’s basketball picks up first SCAC Tournament win with a 50-47 result over Colorado College in the Maher Center and also tied the season record for wins with 18 (Feb. 27, 2015)
