Dallas boasts 53 Student-Athletes on SCAC 2017 Fall Academic Honor Roll

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2017 fall term and 373 student-athletes made the list.

Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 25,800 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

The University of Dallas placed 53 (edited since release) student-athletes among its fall sports programs, which marked the third highest total among eight conference schools. This total increased by 11 from the previous year in 2016. Nearly half of the qualifiers were from men's soccer with 24 total.

The student-athletes named for the Crusaders represented 51.9% of those that participated in men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s cross country, women’s cross country, and volleyball this fall.
