Hall of Fame Spotlight: Gerald Turner

Gerald Turner played baseball for the University of Dallas from 1962 through 1965.  His career numbers are 112 hits in 343 at bats for a batting average of .326 with 70 runs scored.  Among his hits were 22 doubles, five triples and 10 home runs with 72 runs batted in. The marks in triples, home runs and runs batted in each placed him 5th on the all-time career list. He played on the most successful team in UD baseball history. He was selected to the NAIA All American baseball team 1964.
